Puma turns 60 this year, and they’re making sure nobody forgets.
In addition to releasing a celebratory line of shoes, they’re hosting a string of events nationwide (parties, shopping events, etc), including concerts with Chester French, Lady Gaga, The Bravery and more (full concert schedule after the jump.)
Best part? All the concerts are free and open to the public, just make sure to pick up tickets at Puma stores in participating cities starting… today!
So, uh, get your sneakers on and run for it!

Yesterday, a boy asked if I was going to anything for CMJ.
“What’s that?” I asked.
“It’s like Fashion Week, but for music,” he said.
Well, my music connections pale in comparison to my fashion friends, unless of course the two come together, so he was out of luck.
Until now. The Ralph Lauren Rugby store on University Place will play host to a couple of different bands each day this week for the College Media Journal Music Festival. I’ve been meaning to stop by the store for cable knit tights anyway, so now I can shop while listening to bands like Chester French and Tally Hall play live.
Anyone can go: music people, fashion people, unemployed-during-the-day-people.
Schedule after the jump.
