Claw Money is collaborating with Sunglass Hut.
The legendary grafitti artist hasn’t produced the whole collection just yet, but she’s designed one style that’ll be distributed at next week’s Social Sun launch party.
Social Sun is their new interactive way of shopping for glasses that allows customers to virtually try on as many styles as they want, blast them to friends via Facebook, texts, emails and even in-store TV screens, before deciding which ones they want to buy.
Cory Kennedy’s hosting the party/Sean Paul concert at the Herald Square flagship next week so if you see a bunch of Jeremy Scott bedecked hipsters in the most unlikely of neighborhoods, you’ll know what’s going on.
My Little Pony is getting a makeover.
And if that didn’t make you giggle enough on this very hazy Monday morning, consider this:
The makeover’s by Claw Money!
The ex-graffiti-scrawler and other artists, fashion designers, and celebrities are creating their own versions of our favorite childhood staple, in honor of My Little Pony’s 25th Anniversary.
These 25 individual ponies won’t be sold at the local toy store, but will go to a greater cause - charity. They will be auctioned at an event later this Fall, where a portion of the proceeds will go to Give Kids the World Village.
So we’re not sure what these pretty ponies will look like yet, but we’re thinking Claw’s will drip with bling and sweet sunglasses à la M.I.A.
What do you think the chances are that Karl’s involved?

Kristin Davis may have just decided to launch a fashion collection, but we don’t really care.
Instead, we’re far more fascinated by the latest project from graffiti legend Shepard Fairey: A collection of hipster jewelry inspired by his iconic OBEY prints.
The line has necklaces and earrings, and seems inoffensive but still really weird. How can you be protesting mass consumerism and creating it at the same time?
Maybe it’s not so surprising, considering graffiti babe Claw Money has her own handbag line, and Fafi just did a makeup collection for M.A.C. Meanwhile, Fairey’s other project - a series of OBAMA graphics that you’ve probably seen everywhere - feel a little more inspiring.
