Gaga Gets Dazed

ladygagadazeddigital.jpg We know many of you are suffering from Gaga fatigue, but not us. Not even the massive number of Lady Gaga costumes sure to take over the nation on Saturday night can quench our thirst.Her SNL performance a few weeks ago was awesome and so is this new video over at Dazed Digital.

It starts out a bit interpretive modern dance Gaga, set to piano music she scored just for the short, directed by Kathryn Ferguson, before moving to seems to be outer space. The styling is sparkly, colorful, and athletic kind of all at the same time. And the multi-colored makeup is pretty ridiculous, and I mean that in the best possible way.

You can get a better look at the details in the behind the scenes photos. Personally, we love that Gaga takes time out from rehearsals and whatnot to do these kind of projects. Because whether you love her or not, there’s no question the Lady is busy.

Lend A Hand: The LOVE blog is reporting that photographer Corinne Day is very, very sick and in need of some super expensive medical treatment, so they’re selling a limited edition Kate Moss print (that’s too NSFW for even us to run on the home page) There are only 500 available. Do get well soon, Corinne! {LOVE}

Legoland

decastelbajaclegosunglasses.jpgWhen we were younger, we loved Legos. Making little towns could entertain us for hours— or until our Barbie showed up and totally towered over her supposed home.

And we think that these Jean-Charles de Castelbajac customizable Lego sunglasses that we found on Dazed Digital, are too funny.

The sunglasses are available in red, white, and yellow, and can be customized by adding Lego as you please.

While we think that in some cases, paying to DIY a designer product, like this $5,500 Fendi baguette and this lettered black Roger Vivier bag, can get kind of ridiculous.

That said, we can’t help but want to try to create our own Lego masterpiece. And at just over $150, the shades are quite a bit cheaper than the make-you-own purses.

With Ray Ban offering up their Colorize kit, and items like the One-Dress being sold, we have to ask, do you get nervous at the thought of being left to your own devices and prefer your purchases to be ready-made or are you willing to shell out to DIY your designer goods?

Gareth: The Try-Out

Everyone was pretty impressed with Gareth’s video for Fall 09 - It was creepy, it was cool, even if you couldn’t really see the clothes.

But Dazed Digital has something arguably better - a behind-the-scenes video of Natasa Vojnovic trying on the clothes, and trying out her freak moves for the camera.

Enjoy it, but most pressing: Would you wear the trash bag cocoon now that you can actually see it? (Our answer: It’s actually a lot cooler than we thought…)
