St. John’s Siren: Karen Elson’s the new face of St. John. Greg Kadel photographed the campaign (the first since Angelina Jolie’s). Karen gets better and better. Looking at this picture makes me want to buy St. John, (and I don’t think their target customer is twenty-five years old). {FashionGoneRogue}
A Fast Fashion Fortune British design student Hannah Cooper’s parents won the lottery. So she naturally decided to make a dress from fabric printed with a million pounds worth of twenty pound notes. She loves it because, “the dress really does look expensive.” {BBC}

Milking It: This week people keep putting the Obamas in ads they obviously didn’t approve. First PETA and Michelle and now a company called Weatherproof put up a huge Times Square billboard of the President at the Great Wall, apparently in one of their jackets. We love that the company claims, “We’re not saying President Obama endorses Weatherproof apparel.” Really, you’re not? I guess that’s why so many publications refused to run the ad. {NY Times}
