Rag & Bone think it’ll be quite cold this spring.
They layered thermals underneath practically all their looks, sticking out from men’s pants, under jersey harem pants on their girls and even below tailored blazers.
Stam was missing from their runway, guess they wore her out behind the cash register the night before, but they boasted Sasha and Freja and Lily and Magdalena and Kim Noorda and Kinga and a bevy of chiseled men.
Charlize Theron sat front row, like two seasons ago, across from Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton and down from Elettra Weidemann (looking especially hot) and LSD rocking major leather pants. We sat next to Tavi, who was loving her first official New York Fashion Week and down from Susie Bubble who rocked the best headpiece we’ve seen so far.

Giorgio Armani, he who promised to better “edit” the selection of items bearing his name, is partnering with the Molteni Group to produce and distribute kitchens under the name Armani/Dada.
The brand is defined by the words “design, comfort, elegance and functionality” though all we can think about is what would happen if Marcel Duchamp got his hands on an Armani gown.
As for the kitchens themselves, a version of The Bridge model already exists in the Armani/Casa Residents in Dubai. Giorgio himself is “delighted” that “prestigious homes” the world over will finally have the chic Italian counters they deserve.
Wonder which lucky girl gets to lean against the stove for Armani’s SS09 ads?
On a shopping whim last night, my mother and I hit the T.J. Maxx in North Andover, Massachusetts. I needed some winter tights, and who can resist the allure of $30 Le Sportsacs?
But we found something a bit more exotic last night as we stripped through the Clearance racks:
A Marc Jacobs gown from his Fall ‘05 collection. It was worn down the runway by Kim Noorda, when she was still brunette, and now it’s somehow stuck in the Boston suburbs, waiting to get worn.
The dress is a size small, and it looks like it can fit a girl sized 0 - 6. It’s in perfect condition, but the flower belt was designed by Venetia Scott as a runway prop - it doesn’t come with the gown. And now comes the painful part:
Even though it’s on clearance, the dress is still $700.
It was too expensive for me, but leaving it on the rack was haunting. If you want it, and can handle the investment, go now:
TJ Maxx, 350 Winthrop Ave # 350. North Andover, MA 01845. (978) 685-3220
And then send a photo of you in the outfit, because I’m dying to see!
