Anti-Fug: I’m starting to worry that my favorite outfits always get Fugged. This is the Olsens at Opening Ceremony’s Tokyo opening this weekend; they look perfect. {GoFugYourself}
A Friendly History: Juergen Teller talks about the origins of his relationship with Marc Jacobs, his campaign process and the controversies they’ve faced together. {TheMoment}
Peachy Keen: Peaches Geldof continues her random TV reign. She’ll cover New York Fashion Week for GMTV, “Fashion is the thing that establishes creative talent and a person’s aesthetic individuality, but most of all it’s a fun way to express yourself,” she says. {PressAssociation}
In the Dollar Dumps: The Post reports Derek Lam’s having a few financial issues. He’s allegedly losing $1 million per month and his CEO’s been MIA for all of August. The CEO, of course, denies the whole thing. {PageSix}

We just read over on The Cut (via Ad Age) that men.style.com will close come October once Si Newhouse et al establish stand-alone sites for both Details and GQ. Many of the staffers will thankfully head over to those two sites.
This is supposed to be part of the plan to give each title at 4 Times Square its own site which, you know, makes a lot of sense. But why the heck it’s taking them so long is another matter.
Style.com is in the clear at the moment, but we wonder for how long. WWD reported this morning that consultants from McKinsey & Co. have been hired by the publishing giant to “realign Condé Nast to be a successful business in an emerging economy that is now predicted to be painfully slow in recovering” according to CEO Chuck Townsend.
No area of the company is off limits and we’re betting that the web (long a thorn in Condé ‘s side) will be much discussed.
Alexa Chung is quickly taking over as the number one girl about town since her move to NYC from London.
From TV hosting to DJing to extremely prolific Tweeting, the girl is everywhere - not that we mind at all.
And now she’s starring in Wren’s holiday lookbook along with her buddy, drummer Tennessee Thomas from The Like.
The girls couldn’t look cuter in the party frocks and what we like even more is that we’re certain they’ll actually be wearing them out on the town. Alexa wore Wren last night to the CFDAs and to the Men.Style.com party last week.
You know how we love seeing like-minded fashion people come together for projects that actually make sense.
Yesterday, Louis Vuitton showed their Fall 09 collection at Men’s Fashion Week, and Kanye’s sneakers were part of the mix.
Some were red, some were kind of orange (guess the white didn’t make it), but they seemed to all be monochromatic marshmallows for your feet, and Marc looked pleased.
We suggest Men.Style.com to see the rest, and a total suspension of relativity when the prices come out.
