Game Night: Britain’s facing a bit of a housing crisis. To raise money 52 creative types like Damien Hirst, Vivienne Westwood, and David Bailey designed a deck of cards to support Shelter’s House of Cards campaign. Do good and play Hold ‘Em at the same time. Sounds like a plan to us. {Guardian UK}

Well not really, but Gisele’s gone and bumped Kate Moss from her number one spot on MDC’s icon list.
Was it her marriage? Her numerous campaigns? Her ability to move flawlessly from Victoria’s Secret to Louis Vuitton? Maybe it’s because she’s one of the few models who really is just a model without a slash in sight.
So now Kate’s number two, followed by Claudia, Natalia and then Carolyn Murphy. And Naomi Campbell’s knocked out of the top five to number six.
Hope that doesn’t make her too upset.
Ga-Ga for Ikielene: Iekeliene Stange gets naked behind a bamboo screen for this pretty awesome editorial, without a stitch of fashion, in the new issue of Velvet. {FashionCopious}

Fashionista’s favorite party photographer, Jeremy Kost, took a break from snapping the actual partying scene for a minute to capture his boys-only exhibit entitled “After the Party”. Showing off the faces (and the abs) of some of the modeling world’s best known boys, his exhibit is a collection of 180 Polaroids that pair the man candy with a variety of props ranging from stuffed Elmos to blow-up monkeys.
If you want to check out the faces of Parker Gregory, Ryan Kennedy, and Reid Prebenda (just to name a few of Kost’s top choices) we suggest you head over to the Dactyl Foundation on 64 Grand Street, if you have some free time between 12 - 6pm, Tuesday - Saturday, from now until March 21st.
After all, even if Reid is in Models.com’s Top 50, they just don’t show him in his underwear. You definitely got ‘em there, Jeremy.

We need some outstanding interns (read: must really love models/fashion, and more than in just the “I flip through magazines” kind of way.)
We’re located in New York City, and so we need you to be, too, in addition to really knowing Photoshop and being able to scan loads of photos.
You’ll be working mostly with our editorial team as well as tackling other assignments in our office as needed, so you must have a good attitude and willingness to learn, and be available 2 - 3 days a week approximately, 2 - 4 hours a day.
This internship is unpaid, but you’ll love us. Send resumes and a very brief cover letter telling us about yourself, why you want to work in the modeling/fashion industry, and what you’re seeking from an internship.
Thanks!
Models.com needs some good Fall/Winter interns. So you:
-Must be available 2 -3 days a week, 2 - 4 hours per day
-Need not expect payment
-Know how to scan, label, photoshop, and fast
-Know who the model at left is, and so many more
E-mail Production (AT) models.com, with ‘models.com internship + your name’ in the subject line, and a bite-sized cover letter with resume attached.
Good Luck!
We wonder if IMG’s split with Naomi Campbell was as amicable as their break from Daisy Lowe.
Modelsblog reports the fiery supermodel was displeased with the kind of work her London agency was booking. She must mean that silly Sobe commercial because her latest editorials have been nothing less than awesome.
According to their source, she’s signed to Independent with the hope of developing her acting career. We missed her on Ugly Betty but we can’t imagine ever watching Naomi on screen and thinking anything other than “That’s Naomi Campbell.”
And we can’t imagine anyone outside the fashion industry consistently putting up with her tantrums.
Models.com needs interns for this summer and fall.
Aside from the obvious necessary love of fashion and models - you must:
- be able to scan photos, photoshop photos and recognize the models in the photos
- be available 2-3 days a week, 2-4 hours a day
- be ok with the fact that it’s unpaid, even if you’re a star hockey player
- be excited and ready to take on all different tasks (read: don’t pout if you go from assisting a top editor to picking up lunch in the same day)
If that sounds like you, email production@models.com with ‘models.com internship + your name’ in the subject line with a brief cover letter and an explanation of why you want to intern for the website.
And then when you get the awesome internship, email us with detailed model gossip and videos of our favorite girls!
