What seems like seconds after the demise of CosmoGIRL!, 02138, and Radar (though we’re not sure that last one counts), comes the news that Hachette is “suspending” publication of ELLE Accessories for at least a year, putting a handful of people out of work during that time.

Add to that all the retail lay-offs in WWD this morning, and this almost sounds like a Bloomberg version of the fashion industry.

Beginning of a trend?

If so, we worry for who’s next…

Fact: Reed Krakoff, the President and Executive Creative Director of Coach, is also a photographer.

Fact: Reed and Simon Doonan, the God of Barneys, are friends.

But did you know Reed just finished a book of portraits on professional fighters, Ultimate Fighting Championship?

Yes, fact.

We assume some fighters will be showing up to the launch party in at least Trovata, since it’s being thrown by Simon and Radar at Barneys in a couple weeks.

And yes, this is probably the last time we’ll mention wrestling, ever again.

Here’s a little sneak peak of something funny in the upcoming Radar.

They’ve dissected Agyness’ many poses, and even though we really love her and know she’s very cool (as Britt put it this morning, “Hey, it’s not her fault Perez noticed her”), we can’t help but chuckle.
