Jessica Hart, the model who’s landed both Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue and the cover of Australian Vogue, headed home to Australia to shoot the summer lookbook for Seafolly.
Since we couldn’t go with her, we asked her to keep a diary of her day for some insight into model life. Enjoy!

Fashionista’s asked me to keep a diary, so here’s a peek inside my crazy life

Finally! I land in Melbourne, following my flight from NY, the fastest turnaround in LA, 3 great movies and a little catnap.
Irina Shayk’s already landed the cover of Jalouse and a career-making spot in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue from 2007-09.
She’s also the face of Intimissimi and Guess, but she just now signed to IMG and they’re celebrating their new girl with much more than your basic measurement holding model card.
The video above is the most fun way we’ve ever learned of an agency’s new hire and we think it should be the only way from now on. IMG even wrangled (we’re sure it was difficult) their very own elevator operator to star alongside the Russian babe.
Bar Rafaeli just got the cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and she gushes to Time.com all about it.
But more importantly, when asked about her future plans near the end of the interview, she says this:
“I’m shooting a show for MTV; we’re starting right after all the parties for Sports Illustrated. And then I have work, work, work, work. The show is called House of Style. They used to do it before and now they’re bringing it back. So it’s very exciting.”
There you have it. Now if someone can corner Chanel later this week (we’re on it), then we can all know for sure just exactly who’s taking Cindy’s spot.
Heidi Klum graced the pages of the new Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
The beloved annual spread is half swimsuit catalogue for women, half eye candy for men. (Yes, apparently over 28 million women read “the Academy Awards” of swim wear fashion.)
In this edition, Heidi wears a suit by Red Carter, and now the label’s profits are up 60% from this time last year and they’ve already sold 400 of the $137 bikini Heidi wears.
When we saw Heidi posing with Will Ferrell, all we could think was, wait, Heidi Klum’s a model? While the fashion industry devotes its love to the Tanyas, Natalias and Jourdans of its world, everyone else has made Heidi Klum the face of fashion.
Us Weekly just named her Style Icon of the Year and now even Bloomberg’s reporting on the fact that whatever you put on her body will sell out in minutes.
