With the ongoing LOVE affair and a couple Fashion Weeks now behind us, we almost forgot that the magazine industry is dying.

Today’s dose of print reality comes via the Post, who are reporting that T:Style, our favorite section of the Sunday Times (when it’s there), has been scaled down from fifteen issues per year to just twelve.

Coming down to the frequency of a normal monthly magazine may not sound so awful, but consider that T:Style is practically the last part of the Times that guarantees total fashion coverage, as opposed to the Styles Section, which revolved around GOOP this past weekend.

A glimpse from your weekend:

You’re probably going to curl up in bed, post-holiday shopping, with the issue of T: Style that’ll come with your New York Times.

Why?

Because the issue will feature a double cover with Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise (you know you’ll read that interview over hot chocolate), and an in-depth piece on the many homes and lifestyle reinventions of Karl Lagerfeld (preview after the jump), written by Cathy Horyn.

So be super fashionable and look ahead.

We were quietly going through the most recent T: Style with Eva Green on the cover, when we noticed something so incredibly strange.

Another high fashion bunny. But with a mean face. Made out of mink. Designed by Rick Owens. (Translation: It’s $700.)

You’re supposed to be able to put your necessities into it (“keys, cash and compact”), so we guess it’s like an animal backpack, except, made from an actual animal, and missing the straps/handles that usually come with accessories called bags.

Could this be the first animal clutch? Apparently.

On a side note, Stella’s moved on from bunnies to deer, though made of recycled polyester rather than venison. We should all get out our monkey-topped pencils and take note.

When we found out that one of our favorite American magazines would include a shoot styled by Marc, we knew we had to get our hands on the images right away, and share.

Behold: This weekend’s T:Style includes a shoot of both Marc and Elodie (Elodie Bouchez, the French actress, not Elodie, Hills non-actress - whatever happened to her anyway?) wearing mostly Marc designed duds.

We kind of love it, and we knew you would, too.
