Charlize Theron sat front row, like two seasons ago, across from Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton and down from Elettra Weidemann (looking especially hot) and LSD rocking major leather pants. We sat next to Tavi, who was loving her first official New York Fashion Week and down from Susie Bubble who rocked the best headpiece we’ve seen so far.

Stylist Patricia Field has created another custom Diet Coke bottle, currently available at Selfridges in England. This time the inspiration was Ugly Betty.

Now Ugly Betty hasn’t been much of a buzzworthy show of late, but perhaps that is not the case overseas. ABC almost pulled the plug on it this spring, so the timing seems a bit odd.

Also the bottle, wow is it not so cute. It’s a pink leopard-ish print. And guess what? It comes with stickers that you can put on your bottle…or maybe your notebook.

Fact: If you’re not in the fashion industry, you probably think most people in it are bitchy.

But, if you are in the fashion industry, you know that while some are, most aren’t, (just like any industry) and a handful are pretty extraordinary.

So meet Nikki. She’s 14 and her mother teaches at Savannah College of Art and Design. She made friends with some of her mother’s students who eventually moved to NYC. And when Nikki was diagnosed with cancer, her New York pen pals flew her up to New York to take fashion obsessed Nikki to the Superhero exhibit at the Met.

The story spread and soon Nikki was touring Marc’s studio, lunching with Andre in Oscar’s showroom, getting her own WWD cover and chilling on the Ugly Betty set.

WWD reports that things at Elle are getting even uglier.

Nina Garcia’s set to guest star on Ugly Betty in just two days, but if that isn’t enough editor-on-TV for you, don’t worry - both Robbie Myers and Joe Zee, (who must love appearing in front of a camera), will appear in the season finale with previously announced guest star Naomi Campbell.

The three make up part of Elle’s softball team which plays against Mode’s softball team for a charity tournament. We hope they don’t actually let Naomi use a bat.

We love Elle, but once their hard working editors get tired of being on TV, reality or otherwise, can someone in production please get in touch with Vogue?

We can’t think of anything better than Meredith Melling-Burke and Anna plotting in a dugout.

Naomi’s been up to a lot more than just modeling these days.

First, she dabbled as a political journalist for GQ, took up some community service mentoring younger models, and now we hear she’s set to appear in the season finale of Ugly Betty (full disclosure: we have never seen this show).

She’s got a lot to act up to: We haven’t seen her in anything notable since Unzipped and Miami Rhapsody (though that one was probably only notable to us), and she played a supermodel in both, so we’ll have to see if the Ugly Betty people let her take on a different role.

The last fashion notable to cameo on the show was Posh Spice, whose blip was beloved, so we hope Naomi’s practicing her lines as we type.
