OH yes, Lexington, KY is all about Ugg boots too. I actually have a pair of long grey ones, and they seem to go well with just about everything but a prom dress. As a Catholic school student, I see about 400 pairs of these floating around during the first 9 hours of my day, and then after than in various places on assorted types of people... and on many different outfits. Our uniform at school is a khaki high waits skirt with a solid color polo and the school crest (ew) but the Ugg trend seems to work with that. I've also seen them with jeans, skirts, I've even seen them with a dress at Keeneland, the apparently high-end horceracing track here in Lexington. So it may very well be a regional thing, but let me tell you, it's hit my region hard!

For show that's aimed at guys who want to see girls in underwear, they've always done a good job in making it seem like a Super Bowl half time show. Shiny things...

Althea's collection isn't as horrid as everyone has implied and Carol Hannah is not as good as everyone has claimed (in the blogosphere). I agreed with Nina, though, that Althea's collection had a separates vibe, which I suppose is considered commercial. The blue, 13th-look dress CH made was the best of her stuff. Carol Hannah's dress world was the most boring for me. I think Irina should considered making just coats and outerwear, maybe sweaters though she should recognize that she didn't invent the big sweater. Her collection had too many clothes for the girlfriend of a plutocrat. Not young at all. I suppose that's okay, but...not fashion forward. Heidi's suit was ugly, but I wish I could look that good in a bad pink suit.

I thought the season was seriously boring..Irina was the best of not best..Nina told her to add color to the collection..Irina chose to ignore the advise..shame..Planet of the Apes hats were silly..had a major 90's moment with Irina..Althea's collection looked lost in a maze..which way should I go..Carol Hannah's was a roller coaster ride..witty..cute..boring..witty..boring..cute
