High Fashion Replicas Part II, by Jamar Graham

I know it may seem like I'm picking on Ghesquiere, but I'm definitely not. It just happens I'm noticing a lot of things that he is doing better within his collection that makes me want to talk about his work. The critically acclaimed Spring 2008 Balenciaga collection is one of the most influential for the upcoming year, but where do you think he got the inspiration from? I'm not saying it was Costume National , but I definitely see similarities with the two looks. I call this one Balencinational Enjoy!!!!!

Costume National designer Ennio Capasa showed an sculptured suit in the a classic indigo gray but with a touch of fur for the fall/winter season. Notice the the shoulder structure that Nicolas Ghesqhiere took (not literally) and molded the silhouette and shape of the piece and gave it that touch of modernism and avante garde styling that the Balenciaga house is known for.
