I'm on a Mission to Find These in a Size 7

mj mouse flats.jpg Okay - last summer, I visited New York and I fell in love with a pair of shoes.

They are Marc Jacobs, pony hair, spotted, mouse flats. He has made several versions of this shoe including metallic and patent leather, but I want to find the original. I saw them on eBay a while ago but they were already sold.

I love them so so much, but I need to know, is this mission impossible? Or can it be done? And if so, any ideas where I could find them?

If you live in California, they are at a boutique called the Beehive in Manhattan Beach. I saw them while I was there over the weekend - they are adorable!

I'm ordinarily a fan of anything Marc Jacobs. However, when I saw his rodent-inspired shoes, I felt disappointed, quite frankly. They're less than stellar and anything but brilliant. Quite ordinary.

Thanks HiFashionLvr for checking for me and keep your eye on the silver slingbacks my sister went to the marc jacobs store in san fransisco and found them on sale!

Hey, I live on Oahu too!!!!! Wooo!! :)
Anyways, I went to the new Nordstrom's on Saturday and I saw the mouse flats there but only in solid colors (either black, white, or gray, sorry I can't remember). Maybe they can make do since we do have a limited access to things! :)

Hey GIRLABOUTTOWN- I sent you the UK ebay comment/link- is that the one you ended up using, or were you able to find them on the regular US ebay?? I was just curious, because if they have a better selection of designer things like Marc Jacobs coming from the UK maybe I'll start ordering them from that site :)

btw the ones on ebay are often fakes, these are WIDELY faked shoes - be careful, especially if they sell for some outrageous price!!

but thanks for the tip it really helped alot

oh and other guest thanks for warning me but there is such a thing as returning things from ebay, so if the ones i'm going to buy are fakes then i can always get my money back.

np! ebay is seriously ridden with fakes of certain items, those marc mouse shoes are unfortunately fakes at least 9 out of 10 times.

if you want to have better luck finding real ones, expect to pay more like $200, unless they're used. check the printing on the sole and check the seller's feedback and previous auctions religiously. ask for a billion photos, and if they won't give them to you, assume they are fake :)

Have you tried Zappos.com? They have a lot of out of season stuff because they continue selling it until they're out of stock. Good luck!
