I very recently bought a Botkier handbag at the sample sale -- in less than a month, one of straps attached to the metal fastener (I'm not very sure of the exact terminology...) has ripped.
Normally, I don't mind a few wear and tears here and there, but I've taken very good care of this bag and I don't carry heavy loads in it, which is why I'm so surprised to find the strap ripped after a few weeks.
I'm afraid that it'll rip further and that the strap will completely come off. How can I fix/repair this? Are there handbag repair shops (is there such a thing?) in NYC? Can I repair with this with needle and thread?
Thanks so much!
