Shoe Advice?

Dec 27, 2008 @ 8:16pm

lilly pulitzer.jpgIn the spring, I have a induction ceremony and I am wearing a Lilly Pulitzer sleevless dress, with a fitted bodice, and tulip skirt. It's a pink and green (duh, it's Lilly) floral print.

I'm wearing it with a white circa 1983 Liz Claiborne belt.

Super cute, BUT, I need shoe advice.

I was thinking a wedge or espadrille, but color?

HELP!

Thanks.

I would probably wear a white wedge with wooden heel or a soft neutral color since the dress have loud colors and it's spring so you definitely want to keep it fresh.

I completely agree...you don't want to get too crazy with them because the dress has so much going on.

Being from the south and VERY familliar with girls wearing Lilly, I would say the predictable shoe wooouuld be a white wedge. However, I think a natural beighe color would look best and keep it really fresh and modern looking!

that would be a great option for a good price.
or these for a bit more!

White or beige espadrille wedge. Victoria's Secret has them.
