Dress Me!

armani spring 09.jpgI'm graduating in June and looking for the perfect dress.

Something in the vein of Armani Prive would be perfect, but without the Armani Prive price tag.

I'm heading to Toronto next week and I'd like to get something there to double insure that no one else shows up in the same dress. If anyone knows of any great boutiques or local designers I should check out while there please let me know!

Otherwise, I'm open to looking around on-line.

Did you know Holt Renfrew has an outlet store? Its in the Vaughn Mills shopping mall, just one or two exits North of Wonderland heading towards Barrie. I got a beautiful Helmut Lang dress there for $190, and a friend of mine got her Phillip Lim for $200.

There's also an outlet store for BCBG Max Azria, Hugo Boss, etc etc.. I could go on.

If not, I've gotten some great dresses at Carte Blanche on Queen West.

If I read you correctly you are looking for something A) stunning but for a song B) something no one else will have.

Sorry I can't think of any other T.O. based stores (HR is a great resource, but you still run the risk of sharing your dress). Maybe go, and ask a sales associate about local boutiques?
