As many people are, I am in a dilemma. I am going to be graduating from college in May, and I am in dire need of employment. Ever since I was 12 years old, I wanted to be a part of the fashion industry. This year, I came close to realizing my ultimate dream of becoming a buyer.
Neiman Marcus had selected me to go to their second round of interviews in Dallas in November of last year. I then received an email saying that they would be postponing the interviews until this spring. In retrospect, I should have seen something bad coming. Fast forward to last month when I receive an email saying that the Executive Development Program - the program that I was so close to being a part of - will not be conducted this year. My heart sank.
So, what I am asking for is some help. I would LOVE to have a career in the fashion industry. While being a buyer for the likes of Bergdorf, Saks, and Barneys is my ultimate dream, I am interested in many facets of the industry. Fashion PR and working in the "closet" (like Christina on Ugly Betty) are other paths that I would consider taking. I would like to stay on the East Coast. International would be highly intriguing (particularly London), but there would have to be MAJOR incentive to make that huge of a leap.
If anyone would be willing to pass along my resume - or, better yet, hire me - I would appreciate it. Please contact me if you have any leads or opportunities for me. Help me to make my childhood dreams come true!

hello, everyone is looking for a job and the last thing you should do is put a call out with stipulations--"MAJOR." fresh out of college indeed.
