I've been thinking of starting a website catering solely to cutting edge Japanese fashion, established designers as well as new names being shown at Tokyo Fashion Week, stuff that is really cutting edge but not available in Europe.

Does anyone know of this being done already, and if not, why not?

Would you guys buy from a site like this?

Any opinions welcome, many thanks!!

i'm not too big of a japanese fashion fan but...if the site had the good stuff and was afforadble, than maybe..

Jason I personally LOVE Japanese fashion. I know it is not popular here in the U.S but I do know of a japanese clothing company in California. They do have an online store but I believe they purchase their merchandise from a specific japanese manufacturer (the styles sold by the california clothing company are almost identical to the japanese manufacturer I have communicated with in the past. The web store is called: angiehearts.net, this is a line of fashion I have been researching for quite some time and is looking to get more involved with upon graduation.

i personally would love a site like this. here in london, there isnt anything like it so it would be great to be able to purchase cutting edge japanese fashion online..

I think is a terrific Idea...it's definetly a good niche which haven't been explored online...you will focuse ur e-shop to that especific kind of client who buys avangarde fashion so good editing and presentation is essential.

I'll be waiting if a site like this pop out to spend my pennies.

This sounds like a great idea. I haven't heard of anything like it before. I'm sure you will succeed. Now, regarding the prices, I would buy if i can afford, especially through these rough times we are facing. I really think that you should have many many many promotions, just because you HAVE to get the idea out there, remember there is not any Japanese fashion influence in the US.
