Desperate for Denim

Now that fall is actually upon us--or seems to be, who knows with the weather these days--I'm on the hunt for layering pieces.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a relatively affordable denim jacket? I am looking for one that seems worn in a bit, and nothing too stiff. Just something to wear during the evenings with dresses and whatnot. I tried Ebay, but it completely overwhelmed me and my local department stores like Nordstrom don't have enough of a selection for me. Help!

Gap or Old Navy is a good place to start. Depending on your definition of affordable ShopBop has some really good ones now too.

surpirsingly, express has a few good choices. i popped in the other day to check out a faux fur vest (it looked disgusting online but i decided to check in person anyways) (and the vest also looked disgusting in person but then i put it on and its ridiculously cute which shocked me). urban outfitters also has some good picks. or see if you can track down one of the gorgeous charles anastase denim jackets from last season and be ridiculously cool

LEVIS. i got mine for $30 online from a workwear website. i wear it every day! it's great! i can't wait till it gets all good and beat up looking, i want to put elbow patches on it.
