Save My Tank!

Sep 30, 2009 @ 8:07pm

pattersonjkincaidzippertank.jpgDear Fashionista Readers,

I need your DIY skills and creativity. Here's the deal: my favorite Patterson J. Kincaid tank got a little ruined and I'm hoping to salvage it somehow. It's a white, longish loose tank with a zipper up the back and now a few unwanted little holes all around the bottom.

So creative types, any way to save it? I know there must be but I'm at a loss for ideas. I don't mind being creative (with a little help) but I want to make sure it doesn't look too sloppy.

Thanks for your tips!

Hi!

I don't know how you feel about tie-dye, but its fairly simple and there are a ton of videos on Youtube that show different effects you can get with it! I just finished tie-dying a scarf and I love it! Or you could get it screenpainted....
Good luck :)

Why not tuck it in to a high-waisted skirt or trousers?! Or if you are in the creative mood, buy some vintage lace that you can sew round the bottom.

Enjoy x
