New York Shopping Spots

Oct 03, 2009 @ 11:58am

skyviewofnewyorkcity.jpgHi!

In November, I'm going to be heading to New York City for a little trip and I need some tips on where to go shopping. I usually come to the city once a year, but I feel like I always end up at the same places--Uniqlo, Betsey Johnson, Marc By Marc Jacobs.

I would love some new ideas because I know there are tons of cool boutiques and designers that I'm missing out on.

Go to the LOWER EAST SIDE! There are so many cute little boutiques on Ludlow, Rivington and Stanton St. Check them out you will find really original stuff. Also, instead of walking down Broadway in SoHo, walk towards mulberry and Mott St. there are also a lot of great little stores around there. Happy Shopping.

I've just got back from NY and had a fab time!

Best places I can recommend:

Woodberry Common - huge outlet village with top designers such as YSL, Fendi, Jimmy Choo and Chanel!

Soho area - walk around, you will come accross some fab boutiques

West Village - the best Marc by Marc Jacobs stores!

Happy Happy Shopping x

Depends on what you're looking for... but given economy bust, Loehmann's, Filens, DSW and Century 21 are overflowing with merchandise... you can also try East Village-- Gabay's, Tokyo Joe, Cadillac's Castle and INA in NoHo-- Happy Shopping!
