Vegas, Baby, Vegas

lasvegasforcommunity.jpgHello everyone!

I would love to get your help on something. I've been asked to do a daytime makeup look on someone for her trip to Las Vegas and another for nighttime.

Now, since I'm not a complete amateur, I realize that I should spice things up for the nighttime look. But daytime in Vegas has me a little stumped.

I'm looking for something that shows this woman's true beauty, but is saucy enough for this city. Any suggestions? What eye shadows, eye liner, and mascara? What are the best shades to pair with a little black dress? All ideas are most welcome!

P.S.
Everything except showgirl makeup, she's going to Vegas, not working there.

Hey, so I live in Vegas, and I notice that those that seem to fuss too much over makeup always end up looking overdone. Too many women visit this town thinking this is the time to "vamp it up" and end up looking like they're working, not visiting. Get my drift?

My suggestion is to keep it light for the day. Just make sure if she is prone to dry skin that she's properly moisturized! This desert plus the fact that it's winter sucks the life out of your skin! So something that makes her look dewey might even work out.
For night, if she's planning on going dancing, I would keep things matte. I always hate leaving the club looking worn out AND sweaty. Gross. If you're going to go heavy on the eyes, then make sure it's going to stay put and not run down her face. If it were me, though, I would keep the eye simple (maybe add some lashes to open her eyes) and do a bold lip.

Hope this helps!
