Hello fellow Fashionista fans,
I am planning on studying abroad in London next semester and I would really love to find a fashion internship while I am there. I have my visa sorted out and everything, but now, I have to find an internship!
Does anyone know where I can go to find postings for internships in London?
Thanks in advance :)

Hello Fashionista Readers!
I have a job opportunity that I thought one of you might be interested in. We're currently looking for a stylist for a short film project.
It is a comedy with a small cast and the writer's last film was nominated in a Film Festival. You don't need to have tons of experience. But you will be required to be on set from Oct 16th-20th in New York City.
For more information please contact Jeff at phobiafilms@gmail.com.
Thanks!

Hello!
I've recently developed quite a thing for parasols. So I'm in the market for a few beautiful ones.
I found this one by Antoni and Allison. But I wanted to know if you guys are familiar with any other designer parasols out there?
Thanks for your help!!

Hello!
I live in Chicago and, in prep for the bitter cold fall/winter, am starting to look for a good pair of boots. Yes, shopping for boots is my difficulty as I have had bad luck in the past.
Last year I got too many elf boot comments so I was looking for any advice/help you all have to offer for this upcoming season! I'm just looking for a pair to wear with jeans, black pants, dresses, etc. Nothing Ugg-like and preferably under $100, or at least not crazy expensive.
So if anyone is bored at work and would like to hunt for me or you just happen to know exactly what I'm looking for, I thank you in advance!

Hey!
Now that fall is actually upon us--or seems to be, who knows with the weather these days--I'm on the hunt for layering pieces.
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a relatively affordable denim jacket? I am looking for one that seems worn in a bit, and nothing too stiff. Just something to wear during the evenings with dresses and whatnot. I tried Ebay, but it completely overwhelmed me and my local department stores like Nordstrom don't have enough of a selection for me. Help!
Thanks a lot guys!

Hi!
I have a totally random question - does anyone know who makes the bikini Kate Bosworth's rocking on the beach at left.
The picture's in this month's Teen Vogue, but I'm pretty sure it's just a paparazzi shot which means no credits, no listing the brand. I've searched high and low, both in stores and online, and I can't figure it out for the life of me.
I've been trying to find the perfect bikini for what feels like forever - any ideas? Or if you don't know who makes this specific one, anything similar?
Thanks!

Where can you buy relatively high quality feathers?
I want to bedeck some of my old t-shirts and things, but you can only get so far with those crappy things they sell at Hobby Lobby.
I live in Austin, TX, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have an internship in NYC this summer (I'm willing to wait!), and of course the internet is always an option.
Thanks so much!

This coming April is Foxfield, and I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get a vintage sundress, or a vintage-esue sundress.
Preferably something with a tight bodice and an a-line bottom or flared bottom?
Also, nothing Lilly-esque.
Thank you!!

I am in love with the boots on this girl. They're perfect for me.
However, I can't find them anywhere online - I've been looking for almost two hours straight now and cannot even think of any more sites.
Does anyone know where I can find a pair of these beauties (or similar ones)? Must be able to ship to Canada!

Hey all,
Does anyone know about the shoes in the new Gap ads for Spring 09? I'm talking about the booties - there are two versions, both in tan, nubuck-y suede with little laces. One pair is pretty tall with a fairly slender heel, the other pair is a little shorter with a much chunkier, more casual heel.
I looked on the Gap site, but didn't find anything. Maybe they're not available yet, maybe they're not even Gap shoes - I don't know, but I really kind of love them.
Can anyone help or maybe point me toward a very similar alternative?
Thank you!

I have gone out of my mind trying to find a pair of capris like this ever since I laid eyes on them.
I know this episode was a long time ago, so I doubt anyone knows where I can get these exact ones, but something similar, like navy capris with a white design of some sort...? That would be fantastic.
Thank you so much in advance!

Hi Fashionistas,
I'm a sophomore in college, majoring in journalism with a minor in apparel.
I have to stay in Chicago for the summer but I'm dying to intern with a fashion magazine - at least in the fashion department of a magazine - or a Public Relations company that specializes in fashion.
Does anyone knew what firms or magazines I can apply to?
Thanks!

I've moved to Boston for college, and, as many of you probably realize, it's cold - much colder than New Jersey ever was.
I really could use a cute long, warm, winter jacket (key words long and warm - I feel like a lot of the jackets I see online probably wouldn't hold up to the Boston chill).
Help a girl out - send me your recommendations.
Better yet, direct me to a store where I could actually try them on for myself instead of ordering online.
Thanks so much!

Can anyone help me with this?
I saw a friend wearing one of these hats, and I fell in love with it. However, I can't seem to find the right one. I'm looking for a faux fur version with a knit - not shelled - fabric, and none of those horrible wintry patterns.
My friend said she got hers at American Eagle, and so I checked there, and all of them would be great save the patterns.
Can anyone please help me?

I'm on a desperate search for a pair of square framed sunglasses and I finally spotted a pair I love.
But of course I have no idea who makes them and I'm pretty sure they are from a previous season. (Because I've already seen the knock offs in a mall chain).
Anyway, they've been photographed on Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Hasselbeck, and they need to be added to my collection.
They are brown with gold on the outside corners, similar to the Chloé aviators. Ring any bells?

I go the University of Illinois and have taken on the massive project of single handedly improving the midwest's fashion.
To start, we're holding our first of two annual fashion shows this October. We're looking for models but can't seem to get the word out.
The clothes are amazing. They're all made from recycled materials - think coke cans, bubble wrap etc - but we need amazing models to wear them!
Any advice on how to get girls to come to our castings?
The only real requirement is that they're at least 5'7''and around a four or a six - the artists met this summer and discussed which body types we should design for - we're trying to respect fashion and the girls' bodies.
Thanks a bundle!

Hi there,
At the moment, I am planning a fashion parade event for my university (University of Technology Sydney) and we are trying to get professional and student designers to display their garments.
We are trying to recruit volunteer models to help us out with this. It would be a great opportunity for aspiring models to get experience and meet industry professionals on the night of the event.
If you are interested or know how we should go about finding volunteer models, help let me know!
Thanks,
Katrina

Gillian Anderson recently wore a pair of grey, open-toed heels in her appearance on Letterman.
Who is the designer and are they still available for purchase?
Sarah Jessica Parker was also featured wearing the same pair in the July 2008 issue of InStyle Magazine (p.119, in the grey YSL dress).
Thought they [shoes] were YSL, but a quick call to their press office derailed that thought.
Thanks!
