We always look forward to Candela designer Gabriela Perezutti’s collections for their feminine wearability. This season we definitely got that, as well as a very strong nautical theme, that fortunately manifested in a much more interesting way than just anchors and stripes.
Fashion week officially kicked off today, and we dove right into things head-first. From Rachel Comey’s perfectly intimate dinner presentation to the mobbed Phillip Lim for Target event, we were everywhere.

It’s Thanksgiving! The one day a year the fashion world puts aside its fad diets and smizes in favor of that extra slice of pumpkin pie and some awkward yet so-necessary family photos. To keep things light on this day of heavy feasting, we asked some of our favorite people in the industry what fashion things (what else?) they’re thankful for.

The Clothes: Romantic, light and very Great Gatsby. Hippie vibes melded with 20s inspiration and Italian influences for a collection of wearable, unfussy, timeless dresses. During day six of NYFW we snapped some true fashion legends taking in the shows, from Anna Wintour, to Bill Cunningham, to Andre Leon Talley, and we caught up with our favorite internet friends from All the Pretty Birds, Into the Gloss, and The Man Repeller.
Oh yeah, and we saw some pretty amazing shows too.
