Now, the giants of Paris will take each other on. Some of the biggest names of fashion are in the mix–Celine, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, and Dior all made the bracket.

It’s been a season of second, third, and even fourth chances. After stints at Perry Ellis, Paco Rabanne, and Gap, designer Patrick Robinson is once again staging a comeback–this time, as creative director of Armani Exchange.
Currently waiting in the wings is former Dior designer John Galliano, who has been assisting in Oscar de la Renta’s atelier and is purportedly in talks to teach at Parsons.

We know the point of these ads is to sell handbags, and whoever art directed them clearly tried to highlight the bags by juxtaposing brightly colored ones against a stark background, but we can’t help but be a little distracted by how gorgeous Marion Cotillard–and her clothes–are.
Raf Simons has done almost nothing wrong since taking up the reins at Dior. His designs have been met with critical acclaim across the board. He goes out of his way to be nice to journalists.
But there’s one area where Simons falls short, and that’s when it comes to the diversity in model casting for his runway shows.
Dior’s not the only whitewashed show. Noting that close to 90% of the models cast to walk in the fall 2013 runway shows were white, BuzzFeed reached out to five top casting agents to ask: Why?
