Summer is here! Well, basically.
Even though the season won’t officially change until June 20, the weather–and our work ethic–is telling us that summer is already well underway. And we couldn’t be happier.
Obviously, the first order of business whenever summer rolls around, is making sure you have your new favorite go-to swimsuit on hand. Shopping for bathing suits isn’t always easy–or fun–which is why we’ve gone ahead and done most of the heavy lifting for you.

Rosemount Australian Fashion Week has finally come to an end. With its close comes the promise of sleep, and many many clothes to covet in the coming months. Here’s what we liked from the spring/summer 2011/2012 shows.
SYDNEY–There was much anticipation for Lover’s return to the runway after a five year hiatus from RAFW. In the last few years the label has become a cult favorite with loyal followers who build whole wardrobes from their understated, feminine separates and dresses. The fact that the label’s designers Susien Chong and Nic Briand chose to show at the iconic Sydney Opera House to showcase the collection that marks their 10 year-anniversary shows that they are ready to enter a larger stage and show the rest of the world what they can do.
The show didn’t disappoint. It was, in a way, a collection of all of Lover’s signatures (lace frocks, minimal suiting and silk blousing) rolled into one but delivered with more precision than ever before.
I’d say the number of silk blouses Leah and I have amassed over the last few months is pretty shameful, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want another.
In particular, Lover’s nude-y pink poet’s blouse. It’s simply ideal–I love the shape, the color, the way that it will look amazing with my grey leather leggings as well as a sleek pencil skirt. Lover’s known for their incredible blouses, so this season is their moment. Hopefully they’re enjoying it.
