So yesterday the New York Post ran this story, “Red Carpet Lending Nightmares,” detailing the distressed condition designer gowns are returned in after they’ve been worn by a celebrity on the red carpet.

The most salacious story? An anonymous PR told the tab that Lady Gaga returned a Mugler gown with what looked like a semen stain on it. “It was so disgusting,” she said. “I couldn’t even tell you.”

After polling various PRs who lend out designer dresses to celebrities on the regular, we’re not at all surprised by this story.

PARIS– “Muglerrrr…Muglerrrrr….” I can’t think of Mugler without thinking about the vaguely pornographic video Nicola Formichetti created to coincide with his Spring 2012 menswear collection for the futuristic brand, on which he works with designer Sebastien Peigne.

Maybe that’s a good thing, because Mugler’s redefined identity—an out there version of its already out-there ethos—has stayed with me. And it was fully evident in fall 2013′s collection.

Nicola Formichetti has been collaborating with Lady Gaga for years now and their latest partnership debuted during Wednesday night’s Mugler show. And it’s…interesting.

The show, which was awesome, was scored by a new Lady Gaga rap track. Yes, rap. And while Gaga’s voice was distorted to make her sound like a dude for some reason, the words were definitely hers, proving yet again that you don’t fuck with a Mugler woman.
