London fashion week is officially done, and our heads are still spinning. We covered a whirlwind of shows, hit some parties, paid a zillion pounds in cab fare, and ate a whole lot of sandwiches from Pret a Manger. In addition to all the memorable collections, we also saw a lot of wackiness–and tons of fashion “personalities.” From an actual Kate Moss sighting to models in boxes, check out the things that mystified and delighted us in London.
Kate Middleton is taking legal action in response to topless photos recently published by French publication Closer, and she’s calling in the big guns. WWD is reporting that the Royal family has hired Aurélien Hamelle of the Metzner Associés firm, who recently defended John Galliano in the case that cost him his job at Dior.
The designers of London fashion week sent out whimsical invitations that really appeal to the child in us: There were pop-up books from Burberry and Meadham Kirchhoff, a paint set (complete with a sketchbook) from Mulberry, and a credit card from Mark Fast (for the adult shopaholic in us).

Everyone was really outraged a few weeks ago when hack photographer Tyler Shields destroyed and then lit on fire that $100,000 Birkin. But, according to Mulberry’s Emma Hill, Hermes may be setting their own bags on fire.
In an interview with the Telegraph, Hill said:
