The first official day of “spring” is tomorrow. Apparently. (With another snow day yesterday we’re starting to doubt spring will ever come.) Chloe Sevigny’s presentation for her fall Opening Ceremony collection was exactly the type of show you’d expect from the reigning queen of East Village cool: It was held at St. Mark’s Church In The Bowery; models stared blankly and held signs that said things like “Time to have sex,” “Goat Pussy,” and “The agony of power”; Kim Gordon and several other performers (Shannon F, Thinner, Bleached) were scattered across the church, each taking turns performing; and two models go-go danced on blocks in the center of it all.
