The Golden Globes is the first major event of award season and it usually gives us a taste of what sort of trends we can expect on the red carpet this year.

The Golden Globes are here! As quickly as Ryan Seacrest is shuffling them down the red carpet, we’ve been collecting pictures and dress credits for all of our fave celebs.

Jennifer Lopez covers Harper’s Bazaar‘s February issue, and among the requisite tidbits about her boyfriend Casper Smart (“He’s my best friend”) and managing her schedule as a working mom (“I think I can just handle more than the average bear”), is this gem:
“I have that [famous Versace dress from 2000] at home. The other day, my housekeeper put it on a mannequin in my spa, where I get my hair and makeup done. She sent me a picture. She was like, ‘You like this dress?’ Um, yeah, but I don’t know if I like it out in the house!”
In response, we have SO many questions.

Well in Versace’s new spring womenswear campaign, those naked gladiators (Edward Wilding, Kacey Carring, and Veit Couturier) are back, flanking none other than Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, and Joan Smalls. Merry Christmas!
Versus’s follow-up to Christopher Kane will be another young British star: J.W. Anderson.
Before the rumors about Christopher Kane going to Balenciaga were squelched (a spokesperson for Kane said that the report was “unfounded”) I wondered: If Kane was going to helm Balenciaga, what would happen to Versus, the kid-sister Versace line he’s designed for the past six seasons? Surely, he couldn’t carry on designing three lines.
Even though today brings no new developments regarding who will replace Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga, Versace has announced that Christopher Kane will be leaving Versus in what WWD is describing as a “mutual agreement” between Kane and Donatella Versace.
It’s a “mutual agreement” because there was no termination of contract–Versus is simply taking a different tack.
A little Twitter birdy told us that Versace is designing the costumes for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball Tour (okay, the birdy was Gaga herself). {Twitter}
