After 28 days of non-stop fashion action from New York to Paris, a lot of editors were probably thinking they were ready for a nap when Marc Jacobs took his bow in pajamas at the Louis Vuitton show. They didn’t find the deshabille looks Jacobs showed sleepy, however, and were also pretty jazzed about the dotty outfits at Miu Miu.

The buzz factor Monday? Collections that start with “S.” So whether critics were loving the party-in-the-back looks at Sacai or the subversive haberdashery at Stella McCartney, or just trying to make sense of what it is that went down the runway at Saint Laurent, they were talking.
Sunday was a good day to be a British girl in Paris–or an Italian guy with eight sisters. Critics concurred that Celine, Chloé, and Givenchy offered a triumverate of strong visions of empowered femininity.
Critics were abuzz when Haider Ackermann and Junya Watanabe went, well, a little commercial Sunday with less-tricky suiting and loads of biker jackets, respectively. All was not straight and narrow, however, for at Comme Des Garçons Rei Kawakubo took tailoring to infinity and beyond.

We think you know who got the most buzz on the third day of Paris Fashion Week (psst…it was Balenciaga). But for those who prefer not to see things in black and white, everyone’s favorite American in Paris had a little competition from another under-30, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, as well as Alber Elbaz.
