Kate Moss

Kate Moss covers the March issue of W magazine, and it’s the most compelling cover we’ve seen in a long time. Shot by Steven Klein and styled by Edward Enniful, the theme is “Good vs. Bad.” Or as Will Self says in the profile of her (which you can read here) “Dark Moss and Light Moss. Bad Kate and Good Little Katie—simple dichotomizing is not what this dyad deserves.” Indeed. Read more »

Kate Moss is the New Face of Mango

Tuesday, Jan 24, 2012 / 9:54 AM

Another season, another Kate Moss-fronted ad campaign.

In her first major campaign post-nuptials, Kate Moss has been announced as the new face of Barcelona-based retailer Mango. It’s not her first time working with the brand–she starred in a wacky video for them last year with her friend Terry Richardson, which Richardson directed for their fall 2011 runway show.

For spring 2012, Mango has signed both Moss and Richardson again for the print campaign. So, why Moss? Mango’s rationale for hiring Moss is probably similar to that of the many brands who have done the same. Read more »

Does this get you in the holiday spirit? Kate Moss, who doesn’t go more than a few months without appearing on a Vogue cover, covers French Vogue‘s special Christmas/Music issue. Read more »

Kate Moss continues to make us jealous with her storybook-perfect wedding. In the video above hear everyone from Marc Jacobs to Mario Testino wax poetic about Kate’s big day–and why the model continues to fascinate the fashion world. Hint: For Testino, it’s a cologne-versus-perfume thing.

The wedding sounds like it was even more fun and amazing than all the photos make it seem–Jacobs says it felt like a “beautiful, spontaneous moment,” while Candy Pratts Price reveals that “[Kate] actually looked back at all of us when she had to say ‘I do,’ which we all thought was hilarious.” Aw. Stylist Camilla Nickerson even says, “It was one of the best nights of my life.”

The Official Kate Moss Wedding Photos

Thursday, Aug 11, 2011 / 9:33 AM

The purple McQueen dress may have come as a bit of a surprise to those who expected to see a wedding dress on Kate Moss’ September Vogue cover. Not to worry, though–there are dozens of wedding photos to be found inside of Kate and her glamorous guests. Terry Richardson’s unofficial photos made Mosstock look like the most fun wedding ever, and Mario Testino’s have pretty much confirmed that.

The just-released official photos include Kate, Jamie, Carine Roitfeld, Daphne Guinness, Terry Richardson, Stella McCartney, Naomi Campbell and more all against the gorgeous backdrop of Kate’s Costwolds home. Also worth noting: all of the ladies appear to be wearing either black or white. We’re not sure why–perhaps Kate requested it precisely because those are the two colors you’re not supposed to wear to weddings?

There are a couple of editorial shots thrown in there as well–including (a very tasteful) one of Kate and her daughter, Lila, topless (Here’s hoping that does not incite Thylane Blondeau-esque outrage). Click through for the amazingness. Read more »

Color us skeptical, but could Kate Moss be putting her famously well-guarded personal life to paper? The Sun–hence our skepticism–is reporting that the supermodel is writing a memoir at the urging of new hubby Jamie Hince, who is a “big reader” and apparently likes to write himself.

Can you imagine how amazing this would be if it’s actually happening? Her famous love affairs, her long tenure in the fashion industry, the addictions, her childhood. Kate’s really had an interesting life by any measure. “She’s never opened up about her parents’ divorce, having daughter Lila or her relationships with former boyfriends including Johnny Depp and Pete Doherty,” the Sun‘s source said.

But here’s the problem. Kate doesn’t talk to anyone.

It sounds like the year’s most highly-anticipated Vogue issue will feature cover girl Kate Moss in more than just one wedding dress. The John Galliano number she chose for her June nuptials will be given some competition, according to reports in Page Six. The gossip column has it on good authority that Moss was photographed in gowns by several different designers for a spread in the glossy. Mario Testino, who also shot Moss’ wedding for the September issue, reportedly shot the spread.

Anna Wintour reportedly asked “about 10″ designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang and Valentino, to create the looks they’d most like to see Moss wear down the aisle.

It’s kind of hard to believe that 10 major designers created one-of-a-kind wedding gowns just for a magazine spread, but I guess if it happened in Sex and the City, it can happen in real life. Right? It is the September issue after all…

There is only one Kate in London–and the world, really–and that’s Kate Moss (Kate Middleton is Duchess Catherine now anyways). But after photos emerged this past weekend from Moss’ wedding of her 13-year-old half-sister and bridesmaid Charlotte, she’s being heralded as the next Kate Moss.

Charlotte, who goes by “Lottie,” was one of Moss’s 15 bridesmaids. Little Lottie managed to standout from Moss’s impressive fleet of bridesmaids, who were all clad in matching white Bonpoint dresses and floral wreaths in their hair. Vogue UK described her as a “willowy blond” while London’s Evening Standard said she looked “every bit the English rose.”

This looks like the most fun wedding reception ever. It probably was. Unofficial Mosstock photog Terry Richardson has been posting pics from last weekend’s Kate Moss/Jamie Hince festivities on his blog all morning. They are so casual and unprofessional-looking, like he’s just some dude uploading pics from someone’s wedding onto Facebook except the bride is a supermodel all the guests are beautiful and famous.

Just because Kate Moss is away having a private honeymoon off in Timbuktu with new husband Jamie Hince doesn’t mean that we have to stop ogling snaps of her. We knew Kate was covering US Vogue’s September issue, and the rumor that she would cover Vogue’s UK August edition is now confirmed. The mag released the cover and one image from her vintage-inspired editorial on its website today.

Unless you decided to spend your long weekend under a rock, you probably know that Kate Moss married her longtime rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince in a private (at least more private than that other wedding), ceremony at her house in the Costwolds on Friday. Luckily, the matter of her dress was settled immediately after the ceremony with the release of these photos of her in Galliano (and the groom in YSL). And the designer did in fact attend the wedding, according to British Vogue. While the dress has gotten mixed reviews, British Vogue‘s Harriet Quick was a fan, writing: “It was a superb dress and pure Galliano–bias-cut, nostalgic and wonderful–a tribute to him. Moss returns to that waif we all fell in love with.”

Kate’s maids of honor reportedly wore Stella McCartney and Erdem, while her younger bridesmaids wore frocks made by French children’s clothing brand Bonpoint. McCartney also designed three post-wedding outfits–a first dance dress, an after-party dress and a white three-piece going away suit, which you can see below as she makes her way to the helicopter waiting to take her and Jamie to their honeymoon. According to the Mirror, one of the stops on said honeymoon will be Timbuktu, which Kate reportedly didn’t know was a real place.

Click through for photos of Kate and Jamie at the alter, the wedding cake, Anna Wintour in an amazing Prada dress talking to Marc Jacobs and Kate leaving in her Stella suit, plus some pictures of Kate and Jamie in a hotel bed that recently went up on Terry’s Diary. Thanks, Vogue Italia, Sam Mcknight, Bunnyshop, and Celebrity-Gossip!
