What does an Anna Wintour-approved web series look like?
Now, we know. Vogue‘s online programming will debut May 8 (after the Met Ball), and you can already watch teasers on the glossy’s YouTube channel.

From the introduction of branded web series to investments in ecommerce to Anna Wintour’s expanded new role, Condé Nast is making more moves than it has in years (maybe ever?). And it shows no signs of stopping.
When Anna Wintour was promoted to Conde Nast’s artistic director she said her role would be like a “one-person consulting firm.” In addition to her duties as Vogue’s editor in chief and Teen Vogue‘s editorial director she would meet with the editors of Conde’s other titles to offer advice and strategy.
Lucky magazine, with its drop in ad pages over the last few years (the mag dropped 38 pages in 2012) and flagging circulation, is at the top of the list, it seems.
At a Friday meeting of Condé Nast’s top brass, one planned well before Anna Wintour’s promotion had been announced, Wintour got a chance to address the very curious crew of editors-in-chief who were presumably all wondering just how much sway Wintour would have with their respective titles.
So what did she say?
After it was announced that Anna Wintour would become the “artistic director” of Condé Nast, consulting on editorial decisions with all of Condé’s titles, there was some inevitable blowback.
Shift will soon make way for the launch of BuzzFeed Fashion, a new permanent fashion-only vertical that Odell will head up. Yep–Amy Odell is back in fashion. Oh, and she’s also writing a dishy book about the fashion industry.
Condé Nast has been making headlines lately for its digital investments–mainly in e-commerce. Today, the publishing giant has announced its latest digital push: an online video network.

Yet another Cosmopolitan staffer has parted ways with the magazine under Joanna Coles’s still relatively new role as Editor in Chief.
A spokesperson has confirmed to us that Constance White, editor in chief of Essence since March 2011, is leaving the magazine.
The reason is so far unknown, but White’s tenure at Essence was not entirely controversy-free.
Back in December, we caught wind of a new magazine called Editorialist scheduled to launch this spring, and learned that some Elle staffers were rumored to be involved. While we were wrong (sort of) about Kate Lanphear’s involvement (she went to T), two other former Elle staffers are indeed behind it.
