Prince Harry is in the United States this week for a series of official visits, and he kicked off his trip by joining Michelle Obama at a White House reception honoring military moms. We’re pretty sure Harry was on his best behavior–the First Lady certainly wouldn’t tolerate any of his shenanigans at her house.
The Obamas stepped out yesterday in their Easter Sunday best to attend a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Though we’re only weeks into President Obama’s second term, the First Lady seems to be gravitating towards a few select designers: There’s Jason Wu, of course, and now Reed Krakoff has emerged as a clear FLOTUS fave.

On Monday, Barack Obama will officially embark on his second term as President of the United States, which of course also means four more years of fawning over First Lady Michelle Obama’s every outfit (or not?), beginning with what she wears Monday for the inauguration.
There may have been a ton of celebrities at yesterday’s Kennedy Center Honors, which recognized seven individuals–Dustin Hoffman and David Letterman, among them–for their lifetime contributions to American culture… but there was only one First Lady. And boy, did she look the part.
We know it’s New York Fashion Week, but we’re starting to wonder where the fashion shows really were the past few days: here or in North Carolina?
The FLOTUS looked absolutely stunning once again last night on the last day of the Democratic National Convention. While her husband took the podium, she wore a well-tailored burgundy floral-printed dress by up-and-coming African-American designer Laura Smalls with an Alexis Bittar flower pin on her lapel.
Smalls is staging a small fashion week presentation on Tuesday and we bet her PR just got a lot more RSVPs.
