Today is Kate Moss’ wedding day, and unlike the public spectacle of that other Kate’s wedding, this one will be a highly private affair. While Vogue will have exclusive Mario Testino-shot pics of Kate in her wedding regalia in its September issue, several Brit outlets are reporting that it’s been confirmed that Kate will indeed wear a Galliano gown.
This is what Kate Middleton looks like after an international flight. The Duchess of Cambridge started off the first day of her North American tour by showing support for Canada in a Smythe jacket, but decided to make an in-flight outfit change into a form-fitting navy lace number from Erdem’s resort collection (again showing Canada some love as Erdem is Canadian though based in London).
This must have been one of those “private agreements” she arranged with designers in advance of this press tour. Erdem’s resort collection was shown May 31, which may have allowed enough time for Erdem’s team to produce the dress especially for Middleton, or she may have been shown the collection in advance. Back when we were all trying to guess who was designing Middleton’s wedding dress, Erdem’s name was thrown into the mix. We asked him about it in March and he responded, “I mean, any mention like that is just a huge compliment. It’s so flattering! I will say that Kate is very beautiful….”

From the cool (like a makeup collab with Tarte cosmetics) to the kooky (nesting dolls and tattoos), True Blood influenced a lot of people to create a lot of really strange things. We don’t really understand why people wear things inspired by TV shows, but look at all the people with Bart Simpson tattoos–some shows and characters are just that memorable.

Conde Nast has chosen Kate Moss and Lindsay Lohan to cover two of their biggest September issues, Page Six is reporting (the Post calls them “beloved bad girls”). Moss will cover Vogue and Lohan, who is currently under house arrest, will cover Vanity Fair.
Our sources at Conde have confirmed that Moss will indeed cover September, accompanying a Testino-shot story that focuses on her July nuptials (for which Testino is the official photographer). Currently, the details about Moss’s upcoming wedding to Jamie Hince are being kept top secret, but it’s unlikely we’ll have to wait until September to hear anything about it (like who’s designing the dress??). Also, this is at least Moss’ fourth Vogue cover this year–she already covered the Brazilian, Japanese and French editions of the mag and is apparently rumored to be covering next month’s British Vogue. Since 1993, she’s covered American Vogue eight times, most recently 2008′s August “age issue.”
Speaking of August…our sources have also confirmed that Sarah Jessica Parker will cover Vogue’s age issue this year, to promote her upcoming film I Don’t Know How She Does It.

Today in Kate Middleton wardrobe news, royal officials are decidedly being more tight-lipped about Kate Middelton’s fashion choices than almost anything else. The level of secrecy that surrounded her wedding dress was only the beginning.
As we’re sure you’ve heard, William and Kate are about to embark on a tour of North America—starting with Canada, followed by a trip to California. As usual, we’re all wondering what Kate is planning to wear to charm us North Americans at her many scheduled appearances. According to a spokesman for the couple quoted in a People story about Prince William’s 29th birthday (happy bday!), it’s a secret, but she definitely will not be wearing anything that hasn’t been paid for. Like the American first lady to whom she has been compared on more than one occasion, Middleton “has a policy not to accept any free offers of clothing.” She also “will not receive any special clothing budget for the Canada and California tour.”
Kate Moss has been the face of the UK drugstore makeup brand Rimmel London for ten years, but now it seems she’s been doing some behind-the-scenes work for the brand. The girls at Sassybella attended a Coty press event in Sydney and were surprised with the news that Kate designed a color collection for the brand, called appropriately enough, the Kate Moss Make Up Collection for Rimmel London.
The collection includes six lipsticks, in an intriguing array of colors, from orange to a very 90s grey-purple. Eye shadows and mascaras are included. (One can assume that the ads for these won’t involve any controversial touch-ups, like her 2007 Rimmel mascara ads.) The packaging is very Brit. Kate’s signature appears on the lipstick tubes, which are emblazoned with a Union Jack. There’s also a sparkly leopard print lipstick pouch which will be a gift-with-purchase.
Right now, we have no information about when or where Kate’s collection will be available, but, like her fashion collaborations, it’s sure to be a sell-out wherever it ends up. Here’s a peek:

Bella Swan and Edward Cullen’s pending big screen nuptials may not quite be at the level of the royal wedding in terms of all the fuss that surrounded its dress designer, but a comparable number of people will see it, and there has been speculation. Zac Posen swiftly denied rumors that he was the designer back in November. And somehow, InStyle got several designers, including Monique Lhuillier, Prabal Gurung and Erin Fetherston, to sketch dresses for the fictional soon-to-be vampire.
Rumors that Herrera would be the official Breaking Dawn wedding dress designer began Friday and Twilight saga production company Summit Entertainment confirmed this last night via Facebook and Twitter, so thousands of tweens probably found out before we did!
Ever since Kate Middleton’s engagement to Prince William was announced we’ve scrutinized every sartorial choice she’s made. Without a doubt, she knocked it out of the park on her wedding day, looking flawless in Sarah Burton for McQueen. But beyond the big day, the Duchess of Cambridge tends to play it safe–conservative, appropriate, accessible. She wears high street pieces that are figure flattering in solid colors, and more often than not, she pairs her simple dresses and jeans with those LK Bennett wedges. “Conservative, appropriate and accessible” aren’t exactly the descriptors we’d use to describe many of the stylish ladies we fawn over on Fashionista. We’re always hoping the Duchess will take a little risk and prove us wrong today she did, wowing in a shimmering Jenny Packham gown at the 10th Annual ARK Gala Dinner at Kensington Palace.

MJ’s Thriller Jacket Is Up For Auction: The iconic red leather jacket will be sold on June 25 at an L.A. auction and is estimated to be worth over $200,000. Dylan Lauren’s Wedding Dress Will Be Amazing: Her father, Ralph, consulted wedding-dress-whisperer Vera Wang to create the gown, which is currently under top secret protection. It reportedly has one over-the-shoulder strap, embroidery at the bottom and a “little fishtail hem”.
