The latest issue of Antidote–an annual coffee table-like magazine shot entirely by a single photographer—-focuses on the street. Rather than being a spectator of ‘high’ fashion, Antidote celebrates urban life as something that ignites sartorial energy.
It can often feel like fashion and pornography are in bed together: S&M themes crop up in runway collections; sexuality oozes in photoshoots that follow in the tradition of the inimitable Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton; we frequently use phrases like “shoe porn” and “porno chic”; hell, designers even occasionally date porn stars (or play them in movies).

While we’re still not entirely convinced that The Great Gatsby is ever actually going to be released (we’ve been hearing about it for over two years now), we’re getting hopeful.
