We chatted with the likes of Karlie Kloss, Jessica Stam, and Cara Delevingne backstage this past New York fashion week about the best freebies they’ve ever received from a designer. 1. Is anyone else really distracted that all of Nigel Barker’s “live” commentary and challenge explanations are actually pre-recorded audio? Is it that hard to converse on-camera (especially after 18 seasons of ANTM)?

2. How did Sandra not notice her boob completely hanging out as she went down the runway in the first challenge? That had to have been a little breezy.

3. Did Devyn really think being a tattletale would work out for her? Awkward!

4. Was there actually any purpose for this Kleinfeld runway show other than to judge the models?

Presenting Fashionista’s First-Ever Fashion Oscars: The Industry’s Big Winners

We couldn’t wait a whole year to get re-excited about the Academy Awards! (Honestly, how did we make it last time?) So we had an idea.

“Lo!” we thought (in so many words), “Why not host our own Oscars… for fashion! We’ll save costs by forgoing that whole ‘red carpet’ tomfoolery–who cares about that part anyway! We’ll gather an elite team of the finest online editors in the industry–we won’t disclose their identities, so as to protect their privacy and keep the suspense–and we’ll announce the winners via our fair website! By jove, I think we’ve DONE IT!”

And done it, we did.

Behold, the winners (and almost winners–seriously, Karl, it’s a huge honor that you’re even included in this post) of the first annual Fashionista Fashion Oscars.
