I'm glad others believe this sculpture is a waste of gold... Kate is a great model and everything but she hasn't done anything to deserve this. Seriously, solid gold? Ridiculous.

Aw, Brett, I loved this! Fashion is totally about being yourself, so if preppy clothes are what you feel comfortable in then go ahead and wear it! And anyway, the whole "cool" hipsters look is everywhere. I think you are cool for realizing that look isn't you and that you don't have to blend in.

hey, I agree with 22! I love Fashionista, but the pics can use some improvement! I love this look, too, but yes, the dress is a bit too tight (but I LOVE Herve Leger's collection for this season). Something you'd only wear on a I-feel-like-wearing-something-almost-unwearable day. I never had one of those days. :\

I hope that Fashionista didn't just discover this now! I went to Europe during spring and I too found the supplements to the already lovely magazines just WONDERFUL. Paris Vogue came with a book of Models that listed details such as Anja's favorite perfume and Vlada's favorite music artists. In London, I decided to purchase Marie Claire instead of Vogue because of the tote that came with Marie Claire. Forgot what was inside Vogue though. But I wish American fashion mags would try to be a LITTLE European.... but then again the European magazines are expensive.

I was only able to flip through that issue of Vogue while I was home last weekend. And Natalia and her family looked lovely! I actually agree that this photo does look a BIT weird probably because of Natalia gazing into the distance while her cute children are looking elsewhere but if that wasn't mentioned at all, I wouldn't have noticed much. Oh well, I still love Fashionista as well.

Hm, well...I still like Fashionista. True, you guys don't give credit yourselves. And it was wrong of WWD to not include Fashionista as its source. And it was also wrong to bitch about that. But we all go on.
