i would wear the red ones, but the thought of the first two, delicate, womanly shoes on a man's gross, hairy, wide feet make me literally want to vomit. --B

i love sex and the city. i'm sure every addict of this blog would say they love it too, but i REALLY love it and will admit here and now that i usually can't go to sleep at night unless i watch an episode...or four. with that said, though, I am mildly dreading the movie. i think it will be shmaltzy and cheesy, and all the hype that's sure to come will definitely kill it. however, you will see me in line on it's debut night. --B

i adore christopher bailey, i really do. i work for a magazine and i recently transcribed an interview of him, and in a weird way, he reminded me of my nana. i know that sounds totally fucked up, but just in that he was people pleaser, but not in a fake way, he just wanted everyone to be nice and happy. it's nice to think that studded black leather platforms can come from his sweet little noggin. --B

I agree. I didn't think streetwalker could get any worse but somehow they do. I guess I like his matte gray shoes with heavy white soles to balance him out, but...i really don't want to be mean, i'm sure they are nice people, but in what fifth dimension is this considered good style? i HATE muppet scarfs like that. every girl's mother gave them one as a last minute present and they all need to throw them away.

cute story--i love billy's bakery. after getting over the story's verbosity, though, what i really loved was the loneliness of new york. how in this city of millions, you can feel totally isolated, and how inanimate, superficial things like designer clothes or your favorite bakery can really become your only friends when you first move here.
it's defintely clear that brett is still very young, as many of his observations are of the freshman variety (first time separated from your mom?), but i'm excited for fashionista to have a male blogger. brett--keep an eye on menswear for us! --B

is this party open to the public? and i think it might be thursday, not today (wednesday), but i'm not sure.
right now i'm still planning on camping out to see madonna after work, as i live two blocks from the UN.

Wow this season sure has flown by. I loved when Tim Gunn gently tapped the bell at the wrestling match, ever so daintily, instead of the pound it really needed.
chris's outfit really was great. my roommate and i were so proud of him for finally winning one. but how about christian being totally star struck? instead of his usually chatty self, he practically didn't say a single word up on stage, and was very fidgety and constantly wobbling. richie rich (who was looking really puffy) put christian in his place! --B

i really have nothing against Ali Hilfiger, but she just kind of makes me sad. Her dad's clothes were such a blip in the radar as far as fashion to me is concerned, and her life was a MTV reality joke before being a reality joke was perfected, and she is always trying so hard but never good at anything. remember last month when she wanted to be a serious artist? i guess i shouldn't feel sad for her, her life i'm sure is ten times more amazing and priveleged than mine, but there's something a little pitiful about Ali. --B

your home outfit and your outside outfit can be different and still worn for yourself. one can have different visions of yourself for different occassions that don't match up, and still you're wearing an outfit for yourself. i know just today in this horrible new york weather, i wore giant rainboots that no one else but me would have enjoyed wearing. --B

I love Bjork (I was just listening to "It's Oh So Quiet" getting ready for work this morning), and to be honest, I loved her swan dress. I thought it was great--and the matching egg purse: classic. --B
