I have gone out of my mind trying to find a pair of capris like this ever since I laid eyes on them.
I know this episode was a long time ago, so I doubt anyone knows where I can get these exact ones, but something similar, like navy capris with a white design of some sort…? That would be fantastic.

I really don't want to be rude, but honestly... you guys get complaints all the time about the handwriting... your doing this blog for your reader obviously, for people to see what you write and post, but if half of us can't understand what you write.. what is the point?

I think it all depends if everyone gets it. Like the Vandelay shirt... guaranteed most people i know wouldn't get it, so i have to ask myself do i just look stupid? Or is it worth it for the few people that do watch Seinfeld at my school?

#111, I live in near SF also, in Sonoma County and i see them everywhere. The girls that do wear them are very tacky for the most part and it ruins them for me, because i'm sure they are very warm and practical for cold weather. And i'm sure there are people who wear them that aren't tacky... but the truth is, the majority of them are, and i personally always try to find another alternative. I actually probably would buy them is they were easier to buy, but i haven't seen them anywhere! We also have hot weather about 75% of the time here, so...

I won't buy anything from vintage stores and I prefer not buying things on sale. However, my shopping income is limited to my allowance and money from my part time job, so I need to be frugal at the same time. Please don't call me a snob, because all my friends shop in vintage stores and I think that's fine, it's just a thing i have. I love the smell, the feel of something brand new and in a new bag and I wouldn't have it any other way.

How not get excited when a J.Crew catalog comes? It's always the highlight of my day. Then again- if I lived in Manhattan and got things like invited, etc. in the mail I probably wouldn't be half as excited.

I'm 17 and it's just weird to think that we are the same age and that there could be a girl at my school that would have an opportunity like that... I just couldn't imagine it, it seems so young.

Honestly, I don't think it looks worth it. It may be one of those things you're crazy over right now and then in like a month or even a week you will think... "gosh i'm so glad I didn't order it!" but like the person above me said, if there is a good return policy, maybe just trying it out in person isn't that big of a deal.
Banana Republic has most of their spring dresses on sale or going to be soon and they are all very cute/simple. Definitely very good quality and $80 and under.

I have been noticing so many more sales and I have taken advantage of those. Even though for me I haven't really been affected by the recession, I have been careful not to buy too many overpriced and try to be more conscious about it.

I agree.. these things are frustrating. However I can understand why they make so much money. There are so many girls out there who love those typical celebrities, like the girls from the Hills and even if they don't like the shade of lipstick, they are going to feel confident and good buying something with their favorite celebrities name on it, like it will magically make them like them.

San Fransisco was very, very crowded. It took 5 minutes to go one store to another and slowly push through the large crowd in Union Square. The only safe stores were Neiman Marcus and Barneys. I didn't even turn me head towards the direction of H&M.
I just want to let everyone know who lives in the SF-Bay Area. Corte MA Dera is the most amazing shopping place: J.Crew, Anthropologie, Gap, Banana Republic, Nordstroms, Kate Spade, and on and on and on. Without the bustle of the city. And it's only 15-20 minutes from the city.
