Is Vertigo supposed to be a hint? Because i don't remember Kim Novak's character wearing any Pucci...

Isn't sh supposed to be kind of a part of the movie. The wedding dress was by her correct? 'She' sent Carrie a note, and I'm pretty sure the fashion show what her stuff too (but i could be wrong). That's kind of disappointing that she didn't like it that much. I know she's a very important designer, but it's still really disappointing. To me, the movie was very, very good and i think if she stayed for all of it she would have enjoyed it, regardless of the lack of cutting edge fashion.

What makes me really mad is what they were doing at the Dark Knight Premiere.

But aside from that, I can agree on both sides, for one i agree with the poster because it isn't right that style.com or just vogue and the fashion industry in general is advocating such a thin look, and by having her be one of the best dressed it's simply pushing that.
But on the other hand, being thin may be a part of fashion, but it's all about the clothing and it's called 'best-dressed' so we should say... oh Allegra can't be on the best dressed just because she's thin. I think that models are the ones who omit this 'thin' problem because they are the ones acuatlly modeling the clothes. But if it's not a model like Allegra and she's just wearing a lovely dress, then we should veto her just because she's thin.

This is totally not pertaining to the subject and I'm sorry, but i never understood why commenter's when quoting others refer to their time instead of the numbers to the right. I don't know if they don't notice them or what but it's SO much easier! and easier for us, who want to go back and look at who your scrutinizing :)

Although i'm not a bit Lilly Cole fan, i love this! Her hair looks amazing and the styling is fantastic.

Has anyone tried their body wash? I get their products from the Barneys in San Fransisco, and i have their lip moisturizer and their bamboo body scrub and i wasn't a big fan of the scrub, but i'm wondering is the body wash is nice...

I can totally relate, i love the preppy park avenue/ralph lauren/j.crew style more than anything, but a part of me feels silly, because most of my friends dress like erin wasson, but in the end i don't care because i love this style, and it's just who i am.

Banana Republic, to me has the sweaters, dresses, shoes, jewelry, blouses, pants, everything that looks like you would find it at Barneys... seriously. If you go online or in their store you will know what I'm talking about, everything is amazing. And it's not that expensive at all (certainly not as much as Barneys). And another thing.. it's amazing quality!
Sometimes H&M has okay stuff, but it falls apart after a while, and doesn't even look like good quality. BR looks, feels and is good quality.

Jordache, and A.P.C both make olive oil. I think Norma Kamali has a cafe that promotes olive oil and she uses it a lot in the cooking. and Roberto Cavalli himself i think makes his own olive oil, but i don't think he sells it.
