I'm standing by my original comment because according to Shirley Cook (who's the Proenza Schouler CEO) it's pronounced "skooler." She apparently answers their emails. How cool is that? -the DCGF

The sub-title should read "The semiotics of self-absorption." Although I'm surprised she event knows what that word means! -the DCGF

Thank you for mentioning this promotion!! I'm going to be personally picking up all donations made to DC-area Banana Republic stores...so go for it. The money raised at Goodwill retail stores in our area support job training and employment for the disabled and disadvantaged. So you're looking good AND doing good. Nice! -the DCGF

P.S. - I agree with RayBay; Chantel looks like she has a two-foot long neck.

Woohoo! Another self-righteous actress reminding us how horribly materialistic we all are by peddling us her own vegan/organic/cruelty-free/I-am-so-much-better-than-you clothing/shoe/accessories/makeup/fragrance line. Hypocrisy, anyone? -the DCGF

Seriously? I agree ModestoT. Gwynnie is so late 90s and completely overrated. Does she even, you know, act anymore? Like Ms. Jackson said, "What have you done for me lately?" -the DCGF

What a complete and total surprise that LaLohan would design leggings! I would not ever in five hundred million years have imagined that. For real. Maybe they'll be back in style by the time she's finished her prints and patterns. -the DCGF

Goodwill the new Nordstrom Rack? Ha - I love it!

Halie's right: what we do at Goodwill is for a good cause. Our mission is training and employment for people with disabilities and disadvantages.

And Guest #10 is right: just depends on where you live as to selection and price.

As for Natalie's point about dwindling stock, the only reason I could see that happening is if people decrease their donations. But as of right now, there's plenty of great stuff for everybody, regardless of income. Our doors are open to all! -the DCGF

I know you said something about a photographer, but I'm too smitten with those Alexander McQueen shoes to really pay attention. Too bad Paula Abdul had to wear them on some red carpet and sorta ruin the whole look for me... -the DCGF

P.S. - The photographer thing is good, too.
