My first guess was Harrods, but obviously it's Selfridges. Hey, i was still on track with a London department store. You can buy a lion at Harrods!

gotta agree with the comment @1:23am it is way overstyled

i get what they were going for, i love glam rock and velvet goldmine, but this was just poorly executed. if not for the great hair and make-up i would be shouting amateur.

On salespeople:

The Prada and YSL salespeople by Madison Ave. are amazing and wonderful. They gave me some of the best customer service ever. At Prada it was zero sales pressure as they genuinely encouraged my friend and me to try on as many dresses and tops we wanted. At YSL I was thinking about getting the Muse in purple ostrich. The salesgirl was totally sweet and patient. Even after I didn't end up getting the purse she wanted to try some jewelry on me just for fun.

I will never buy anything from the Chanel on 58th. When I walked in absolutely NO ONE acknowledged me. I had to get a security guard to open up the jewelry for me. While I was going through the earrings and rings a snotty sales woman stormed over and scolded "That's not his job. If you want to buy something, you come to me!" I was over it. I put down the Chanel, thanked the security guard, and stormed out.

On designer handbag quality:

I got my sister a Marc Jacobs handbag for graduation this year. Not even a month goes buy and the handle for the outside zipper breaks off. I was furious. How could a $1300 bag break in less than a month when she treats it like a newborn child? I bought it for her in LA and she took it to the Bleecker St. location in NY for repairs. They were apparently super nice and apologetic and the repair was free. If anyone is thinking about getting a Marc Jacobs handbag I would say go for it. Despite the zipper incident, the quality of their handbags is amazing and they come with a lifetime guarantee so you will never have to pay for repairs if you need them.

@ guest #24

I used to work at Coach. Just bring in your damaged purse and they will send it out for repairs. You may have to pay $20 for shipping, but that's it.

While I’m not a big fan of Coach for strictly aesthetic reasons, their customer service and commitment to quality is amazing. They stand by their handbags 100% and just like Marc Jacobs have a lifetime guarantee on their bags.

FYI: The Coach signature jacquard is made in the same factory in Italy as the Gucci signature jacquard.

I would never look at that Steve Madden shoe and think Loffler Randall knockoff. I was obsessed with the Bianca flats in white patent leather and almost threw down the $300+ for them, but just couldn't justify it.

loooove Cruel Intentions. It's still one of my favorite movies.

It's so funny you mention that. Just yesterday I was thinking Sebastian was totally like the original Chuck Bass.

I don't like the perfume solids. I just hate that waxy/oily feel. Back when i used to use Stella I would use the Parfum (which is the concentrated perfume scent) instead of the Eau de Parfum (the perfume spray bottle).

I'm a parfum girl all the way, you can apply it spot on and get a great scent without smelling like you bathed in it.

The concentrated parfum versions of popular perfumes are probably easier to find than the solid versions. I honestly thought the whole reason behind the solids was for travel convenience, and who touches up their perfume when they're out?

This is a great topic. Like many of the commenters already said, I think it's important to find a balance. Personally, I would rather have a few really individual, great fitting, good quality pieces than a tons of cheap fast fashion. I save to splurge. I resist dropping the $20 to $50 on clothes at Forever 21 and H&M so I can afford Marc by Marc Jacobs dresses and Prada handbags. It's a trade off, but rather than having a lot of cheap thrills or "sugar highs", I get to have really amazing shopping experiences when I'm ready to spend the big bucks. I also think that saving for something makes you appreciate it more.

I'm not feeling this one. I love the floral skirt and i think the jelly sandals are cute, but together it is just way too matchy matchy. That jacket looks tattered and random and doesn't work with the rest of the outfit.

Side note: I know Missbehave magazine went under, but can we please put "Carrie Bradshaw is my fashion influence" into the Fashion Graveyard already. I mean, seriously.

brava Fashionista! She looks great. I love how the minimalist black and white combo of the shirtdress, tights, and wedges works with that very 90's denim jacket. She pulls it off well

As a lover of fashion and a handicapped woman who uses a wheelchair I think this an awesome idea. It may not be the cutest poncho in the world, but I am glad that a designer (who I really like) took the time to design a garment with wheelchair users needs in mind.
