They make paints specifically for painting on shoes. I think you might have better luck with those.

Side ponytails are bad? Oh snap, they've got me on that one.
I wear 80s cartoon T-shirts unironically.

Cute! Any idea on the shoe in the picture? I'm liking the buttons and low heel.

You can have my converse when you pry them from my cold, dead feet. I intend to wear them until they stop looking cute on me, may that never happen.
I wouldn't wear gym shoes around, though. My Saucony running shoes are for the gym only.

That skirt is mega cute. And what's with the shiny sleeve/gauntlet? I must see more!

OPI's Russian Navy is quite pretty for like $8.

Woo! I totally tied for 1st this episode on the Fafarazzi game and came in 5th place overall. ^_^ Go Christian! Boo practicality. Who cares what most women want to wear? We've all seen what most women *do* wear, and I don't think that should be getting any awards.

My dad cherishes his custom James Smith & Sons umbrella. I don't know that I've ever seen him carry it; it might just be the midlife acquisition of a boy who loved The Avengers.
Despite my avatar, mine are all $5 foldies from the street umbrella guys. I once had a magnificent umbrella, though. It was a big, plain black classic-shape umbrella with a pretty curved handle, and the underside was a bright blue Magritte sky.
It was fantastic, because you'd only ever open it if the real-world weather was bad. I loved it, but lost it. I'd be willing to pay largish sums for another one.

I think Chris didn't choose the best pieces for the "walk off." (How awesome that he called it that!) In the pictures from his runway show there were some soft, floaty dresses with huge, disturbing prints. I could have gotten behind one of those in a heartbeat.
I'm seriously going to miss Chris! Can we get Bravo to give him Veronica Webb's job?

I adore my steamer. It's huge and makes the most wonderful burbling noise. It's much faster and easier than any of my other options.
I love my iron too, but I only use it for things that need to look pressed, like a crisp shirt.

That sounds like the same logic my trendoid first colorist used when he painted blonde "chunky" streaks on my head in 96.
Entry: Would You Wear A One-Piece Bathing Suit?

People eschew the one-piece suit? I had no idea they were thought of that way. I wore fluorescent bikinis till I was 12, but then I read about Audrey Hepburn getting discovered in her black one-piece when all the other girls on the beach were channelling Mansfield. So I switched to those for the next 8 years.

Oh my god, I must have it! My husband and I have been re-watching Jem & the Holograms on Netflix, and right now I'm wearing "80s Pink" lipstick because of it. (pretty much the exact same shade Hall has on in that picture)
Labyrinth is next, right?

My mom also did not approve of my wearing hair ribbons in high school. I think they're all under my bed in the lunchbox I carried as a purse.
I don't think I'd do barrettes now, though. At 26 I've got a single line on my face (connecting the left side of my mouth to my nose), and wearing a barette would feel like a giant spotlight on it. Maybe with a gobo saying: "LOOK! SHE'S OLD!"
I wore two buns on top of my head till I was 23, and now you have me wondering if that ship has really sailed, or if I could pull it off again.

Of course it's the food questions I know off the top of my head. Le sigh.
