Louboutin's Lapano booties! I don't think he ever did them in an ugly suede though.

Ooh, please do a discussion! I'm going to law school in hopes of working in fashion trademarking, so I eat this kind of stuff up.

Ooh, that's what this was about! I saw them today in Georgetown (DC) and wasn't sure if they were protesting or part of some odd promo. It's hard to tell in this city.

Wow, Nina Ricci's dress is a stunner. And what an amazing pose from Coco, getting that back arch in those heels is almost superhuman.

I wouldn't give them the title "masterminds." Lazy, uncreative, opportunists is more like it.

Keep the knock off reports coming! I really appreciate it - I can spot most, but not always. I'm very much opposed to these direct ripoffs and consider it a service to keep us informed. I will always avoid putting money in the pockets of companies that steal intellectual property.

Hilarious! You should have someone take pictures. I feel like this needs to be seen.

Can't be Zoe, unless you meant "super awesome" facetiously.

I'm starting law school in the fall and will turn 23 during orientation. Most girls break pretty young, seems like all the new, hot girls are 15-17. I'm stumped just trying to think of a girl who "took off" when she legal.

Remember, they aren't to be referred to as "twins" anymore. I mean, they're totally independent, unique beings that just happen to run their businesses and lives together and be born at the same time....

I certainly don't think almost everyone in the fashion community ignoring the dress code helped. If the trend fell flat on the Met's red carpet, it doesn't bode well for a transition to the streets.

Oh, if only Net-A-Porter (or any legit online retailer, for that matter) actually carried Chanel. Then I might actually have a shot at owning a piece if they ever happened to hit the sale section.

I actually audibly gasped when I first saw shots of Allerga from the Dark Knight premiere. The shot on style.com is definitely more "flattering." She looks absolutely skeletal in others. I usually stay out of the weight debate as well, but I think the line has been crossed when a well known, very sick anorexic is heralded. One could also argue that even the ill deserve to feel good. She shouldn't be hiding and afraid to appear in public. Her dress is stunning and she is very well put together, but Style certainly knows that their site is frequented by fashionitas and impressionable girls. I would have no problem with an item noting her style and wishing her well, but to pit her against others in a poll seems uncouth.

All the big tent shows are invite-only. There is sort of tradition where trendy looking students and young people line up outside and fashion editors will give the best-dressed wannabes an extra ticket. Definitely not a guarantee they'll doll out extras though, especially to the really hot shows.

The font is a little different, Prada's was designed for them - this seems like something I could pull from Word. Now, if I could see a giant staircase beyond that "Varda" logo, filled with mannequin parts, then I'd be worried.
