Am I the only person thus far who can say that they don't wear perfume...ever? I work with food and wine, so it's always been a faux pas. I just never felt the need to douse myself during my off time!

It's almost insulting to hear girls saying that, in essence, if you're young then you shouldn't have expenses and you should be able to set aside money to buy the shoes you want.
To be honest, I would rather put that few thousand dollars per year towards paying off my very substantial student loans! I feel better about myself being financially responsible and for working 80 hours a week to pay more than my minimum balance every month.
And for, that matter, I'd rather be saving my money for things like trips or, even better, for my 401K and my stocks! I wish more young people felt the same way.

The somewhat natural-ish looking ones are great!
But I can't imagine what my man would say if I came home looking like something out of the feather aisle at the craft store exploded on my face...
Oh and I doubt they make hypoallergenic glue!

I second the thought above....how do you pee? I have to believe that well-fitting undies are a better bet..

I just moved to NorCal for a second time this winter. It does get pretty chilly here but still, I noticed a couple of things: NO ONE WEARS BLACK (or jewel tones for that matter), and they're all so....grungy. Not even the grunge look currently in style. Grunge as in, they buy their outfits from Whole Foods. Even the ones that try look like they got all their nice clothes from an outdoors-y shop. I pay money to look nice, not to look like I just go dumpster-diving or rolled out of bed without looking in the mirror.
Therefore, I'm fine with turning heads.
