@Summer: The Club Monaco one is super cute- I want! Also, I think I had a dream about this blazer. Is that a sign that I must have one?

I totally lurked over to the SF Maiden Lane store, to see if the rumors were true. Alas, they were not. Fillmore was having a 50% off shoe sale on Dec. 30th, can't imagaine why they wouldn't have taken another markdown on those styles.

I guess I should stop complaining and just consider myself lucky that I live within walking distance of both of those stores. Next time!

I bet Balenciaga did (again). When Jennifer wore it on the red carpet she wore the shoes too. I think they were the regular/ non knee high version, but definitely they were the same.

Loves it. I agree with mckeb753, a collaboration is probably in the works. And I think that this must be the work of Brooks Brothers store employees- who are deliriously exhausted from long hours at work and/ or drunk. I totally would have done something like this back in my retail days.

Or perhaps it is guerilla marketing from an outside source??

You are definitely not too old for glitter. And I love that you still have your Caboodle- I still use mine too. It is pink and purple, and decoupaged with cutouts from Sassy.

Hmm. I would like to see how comfy these are, because to me the point of more expensive shoes is that they are made of leather which is much more flexible/ comfy than plastic. If anyone gets these shoes, fill me in!

Amazing! I also loved getting to see the interiors of these ladies' houses.

It is interesting that mostly only Americans were filmed- but another reason for this could be a language/ culture barrier. I would guess that a majority of haute couture clients are from the former USSR or rich Middle Eastern countries like the UAE or Saudi Arabia.

American Apparel, yes. But I think they're more trading sexual favors for modeling opportunities and/ or drugs. AA clothes aren't valuable enough just on their own.

If shop kids really are doing this just for clothes it has to be somewhere more pricey. Tell us!

I have this skirt! I wore it on Christmas with tights and a 60s vintage cropped houndstooth jacket. It's really cute. Good find!

Been there, done that. It looks more like a slightly late on the trend editorial than a collection. The pieces are nice but there is nothing really very "wow" about them. And the faux hipster glasses must die! I'm surprised the models aren't wearing scarves tied with the pointy end pointing down...

@Holly: I have trouble with that too! Fashionista, you guys should fix that. Sometimes it looks like you are signed in, and then you go to post and the screen pops up saying that you aren't signed in. Then your post is lost!

I LOVE how this post is written.

About the clothes- I like how different it is from S/S 08. It's like Marc has taken a new direction/ twist on the fashiony frump he loves so much. I like the general idea of the silhouettes, and I LOVE the color palette and soft textures. But some of the pieces individually are not the hotness.

But I still love Marc!

I totally remember that article. She was stressed out from being on tour with him, right?? I can't imagine living the rock star wife lifestyle, especially with a small child and my own career. More power to her for seeming to have gotten through some rough times gracefully. And with great hair : )

Yeah, Prince wore this at the VMAs- it was bright yellow. I remember my parents made me change the channel!

Gisele looks hot but that outfit is hideous, it looks like a Project Runway reject from toilet paper bridal shower game challenge. Far too distracting from her beautiful figure.

I say it's a DO! I started doing it last fall. It works best when there isn't a huge contrast in colors between your jeans and the sandals- I don't like the white ones in the picture, that's just a bit obnoxious.

I have also done this look with a pair of light brown strappy suede wedges with ankle wraps. It was barely noticeable, but added a bit of an edge to my fall/ spring transition outfit.

It's a great look for those days when you want to add a little zing to your outfit, but it's kinda chilly or you need to be comfortable.

The Obama graphics have been all over the support beams and other various concrete construction around the SF Bay Bridge for the past few months. I never knew for sure they were the "Obey" guy, I thought it was a copycat.

Anyway, I think they look cool and now that I know they're the real deal? Even cooler.

I've been working the walk of shame/ morning after for day for a long time now. Really it works best for me because I am not a calm, cool, collected and coiffed kind of girl.

Bedhead, minimal smudgy makeup, flowing swaddles of cardigans and scarves are much more comfortable to me than a more structured and polished look. While I like to be fancier once in awhile, rocking the messy is my default option.

It's just more me.

Also! Isn't that the dress Lisa Loeb wore on the 90's showcase with Rufus on Gossip Girl? It's a very 90's/ Gossip Girl day here on Fashionista.
