I’m on a hunt for cute (but not cutesy) mini dresses for spring and summer, and the only place that seems to have what I’m looking for at a halfway decent price is Topshop.
But the way the dresses are displayed on the website just makes them look cheap and ill-fitting. I won’t be able to make it to the new Topshop store in New York until fall, so I want to know if any of you think $80 is worth it for a little cotton dress?
Is the quality worth it, or am I better off at Forever 21?

I love how she pulls off those big earrings AND the necklace. The shoes are a great choice too. My favorite in a while: good find!

I have a collection of old slips I found in my grandmother's closet that I lounge around in. Sometimes I layer them for day, but I like the feeling of dressing up for bed, too. Plus, they're comfortable.

Actually yes. I wouldn't wear something as short as the Brian Reyes or Alexander Wang tops, but with the right high-waisted bottom (or on the perfect no-bloat day), a swingy, feminine crop top can be adorable. I think it's good that they're helping designers that seem so successful but are really still just getting started get all of the attention they deserve.
On a related note, I'm trying to apply for press accreditation (as a freelancer) to Mercedes-Benz; do you think there's a separate application for the Milk at MAC shows?
