Louboutin or Not to Louboutin

Jun 27, 2008 @ 2:00am

christian louboutin altadamas.jpgHi,

I'm sixteen years old and I've saved up enough money to finally buy a pair of those red soles. But, I realized there are so, so, so many other shoes (and clothes and bags) I could buy with the heavy price tag of the Louboutins.

I was thinking of buying a pair of Prada Linea Rossa wedges so I can still have some money left over.

Are the Louboutins' worth it?

Should I just go for it?

Hi everyone!! Thank you so much for replying with good solid advice. I want to have this major purchase be something I have for a lifetime. And it is true, that I would wear these to school, but in my neighborhood this isn't a big deal (scarsdale new york baby!) Since the classic Loubs I want are around 800 and I am not 150% in love, my decision has been to buy this turquoise Hermes belt (around 600) and wait to find the perfect- have-to-have-it Louboutin shoe or maybe a YSL tribute. Who knows! If I buy all of these things now, what luxury item am I going to buy at 50!
Thank you again everyone!!

ps. the prada wedges I liked were not VERY touristy (i know what you mean totally). (but, maybe a little)

pps. Saving up is a bitch. ;]

Pt. 2
I know with all of these designers I see a little label crazy. do not fret, i live in fast fashion ala forever 21 and vintage. and mixed with a little designer. ;]
