Backpacks are OK if they're the sleek, Prada-type variety. They are certainly better looking than all the tacky, hardware-laden bags we've had of late. What's not OK, unless you're a student, are those bulky, sportswear-type bags. They instantly "uglify" any outfit.

If someone's going to buy the Ezekiel, why not just buy a Louis Vuitton knock off on the street? Anyway, it's hard when you're 16 not follow your peers, but it would be so nice if early on, girls would make up their minds to develop their own style and not be a part of the herd. You'll never find me with a Louis Vuitton because I cringe at the thought of brandishing a logo everywhere I go and LV is all about the logos.

I really, really hope this is not true. I've seen enough fat guts hanging out of low-rise jeans to last me a couple of lifetimes. I don't need to see them portruding from cut-off shirts too. Please, please say it isn't so because it's more that I can bear this summer.

Anyone who buys these skates is a complete, utter, absolute tool - and nothing more.

The necklace is great. It is very functional as you can wear it with everything and it is also different. You just have to be very careful with it.

We should all look as good as Kim Cattrall at her age. And, she looks like a WOMAN, not a little girl.

Kate Spade has never been my style, but her clothes now are definitely a sign of the conservative fashion times into which we are heading.
I do like the envelope clutch and woud buy it if it weren't for the logo stamped on the front. www.modemonitor.com

My cynical side says this was a very calculated decision on Kate's part. Of course, she knew she would be photographed and she needs a bit more notoriety since she's been dropped or demoted from several big ad campaigns. Let's face it, the photo of her allegedly doing coke was the best thing that ever happened to her career. Wearing a see-through dress is not on the same level, but the shots are getting circulated and talked about. www.modemonitor.com

OMG yes! I'd much rather see bra straps hanging out than nipples. If you want to show the world your breasts, than please get yourself off to a European beach. Otherwise, the look is totally inapproriate. I just really hope that people won't be wearing sheer bottoms without any underwear - substantial underwear at that. www.modemonitor.com

As long as the backpacks are the sleek, Prada type, it's ok. Those are certainly better than all the clunky, hardware-laden bags we've had around for the last couple of years. What's not OK, especially for a woman, are the bulky, sportwear-type bags that students wear (unless you're a student). They instantly "uglify" and de-feminize any outfit.
